Atom.com

Atom.com runs a marketplace for brandable domain names alongside a set of naming and branding services. The company was founded in January 2011 as Squadhelp and rebranded to Atom in 2024, moving onto the Atom.com domain it acquired ahead of the announcement. The marketplace is split into three tiers: a premium section listing over 400,000 curated brandable domains, an ultra premium section for higher-value names, and a section called Sapphire for one-word names on extensions such as .ai, .io and .xyz.

Listings are only part of the platform. Atom also runs AI and human naming contests, a business name generator, logo design, domain appraisal, and a free trademark search delivered through its partner trademark.io. Registration, transfers, brokerage and auctions are handled in the same account, so a buyer can move from generated shortlist to registered name without leaving the site.

In the DNS Checker dataset, 635,940 domains resolve to nameservers running on infrastructure Atom operates, or 0.2299 percent of the measured total. Those are marketplace and parking delegations from names listed for sale, not domains the company owns outright.
