Refund Policy

Subscriptions

Monthly and annual subscription plans (Starter, Plus, Pro) are billed in advance. You may cancel at any time from the billing dashboard; access continues through the end of the current billing period. Refunds for unused subscription time are not provided unless required by applicable consumer protection law.

Credit Top-Ups

Credit top-up packs are non-refundable once the credits have been delivered to your account. Unused credits do not expire while your account remains active.

Digital Downloads (Data Exports) — Sales Are Final

DNS Checker offers paid digital data exports for certain tools (Reverse IP Domain Check, and other data products as they are added). These are digital goods delivered as downloadable files (CSV, JSONL, and a signed manifest).

All download purchases are final and non-refundable. Refunds are not offered under any circumstances once payment has been processed and the data has been generated or accessed. This includes, but is not limited to:

Each download file contains a unique identifier traceable to your purchase (in the filename, file header, and accompanying signed manifest). By purchasing, you agree not to share, redistribute, post publicly, or sell the data files. If a file traceable to your account is found shared without authorization, your access will be revoked immediately and no refund will be issued. You may re-purchase at the standard tier price; your previously purchased access window is forfeited.

Chargebacks initiated for reasons other than verifiable non-delivery of the digital product may be contested with documentation of your acceptance — including timestamp, IP address, and user agent of your consent at checkout.

Verifiable non-delivery

If a download fails to generate due to a technical error on our side and we are unable to deliver the data, you are entitled to a full refund. Contact [email protected] with your order ID; refunds for confirmed non-delivery are issued within 5 business days.

Service availability and discontinuation

DNS Checker may modify, pause, or permanently discontinue any tool, dataset, or download product at any time, with or without notice. Each download purchase delivers a snapshot of the data at the time the file is generated and grants a best-effort access window for re-downloading from your dashboard.

If a download product is discontinued during your access window, you remain entitled to any data you have already downloaded and are encouraged to retain a local copy. You are not entitled to a refund of fees already paid for that purchase, in whole or in part. Where practicable, advance email notice is provided when a product is being discontinued, with reasonable time to download outstanding files.
